LCD displays Welcome to TimeIPS Browse to....
Press ENTER on the keypad attached to your TimeIPS system or attempt to clock in at keypad/badge reader.
Make sure the keypad or badge reader is securely connected to the system. If using a keypad try switching it to a different USB port.
Make sure system is updated. Go to
Administration » System Administration » Updates » Update Now
Note: Depending on the version you currently have and the speed of your Internet connection the updates can take an hour or more.
Restart client by typing
+ - + - ENTER
on keypad attached to TimeIPS.
If you do not have a keypad, attach a regular keyboard to the purple controller port or USB port on back of TimeIPS. You do not need to shutdown TimeIPS to install the keyboard. Then restart client by typing
+ - + - ENTER
using numeric pad on keyboard.
Check Configuration page
Administration » System Administration » Configuration or Client Configuration
and verify that "Use Display Power Management" is unchecked if you only have the LCD screen attached to TimeIPS.
