New client does not automatically locate master on network

• Specify the master station.
  1. Click on the Clock Configuration page link on your TimeIPS setup screen.
  2. Add the IP address of master station to the Master TimeIPS Station field.
  3. Check the Only use this specified Master check box.
  4. Click on the Apply Changes button located at the bottom of the page.


• Ensure that the master and the client station are on the same software clock version.
  MASTER STATION
  1. Browse to the IP address of your master station.
  2. Go to Administration - System Administration - Clock Configuration.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the IP address link for your master station and note the Current clock version number at the bottom of the page.
  
  
  To Update the Master
  • Go to Administration - System Administration - Updates and click on the Update Now button.
    
  
  
  CLIENT STATION
  1. Browse to the IP address of your client station.
  2. Click on the Clock Configuration page link on your TimeIPS setup screen and note the Current clock version number at the bottom of the page.
  
  
  To Update the Client
  • On the Clock Configuration page, click on the Download Updates button.
