Single Sign On and Password Synchronization
In some cases it may be desirable to have empolyees use the same username and password in TimeIPS and other systems, and/or to provide a single sign on (SSO) option to reduce the number of times employees enter usernames and passwords. There are several approaches to doing this with TimeIPS
Single Sign On: CAPI and Nonce Passwords
To allow empolyees to log into TimeIPS without needing to enter their username and password, use CAPI to set a "nonce" password. This is a password that can be used one time. For additional Information, please contact TimeIPS Technical Support.
Pasword Sync: CAPI and Setting a Password
To keep passwords up-to-date in TimeIPS when changed in an external program, use CAPI to update an employee's password. For additional Information, please contact TimeIPS Technical Support.
