Entering/Resetting a Username/Password
Managers and above access levels can reset an employee's forgotton password. System-wide password resets can be obtained by contacting the TimeIPS Customer Relationship Deparment.
Permissions: Employee Management -> Employee Personal Info.
(Permission item configured under: Data Table Permissions -> Employee Data -> Password)
Default Permission Groups: Employee's Manager, Employee's Site Manager, Employee Administrator, or Payroll Administrator
Using the left pane Main Menu, click on: Employees » Employees.
- Click on the employee's name to expand the employee's record. The employee's Personal tab will display.
- Enter a new Username and/or Password. Enter the password again in the Verify Password field.
- Click on the negative sign to the left of the employee's name to collapse and save the change.
NOTE: If the record does not collapse, view the bottom of the record for any messages regarding errors in the entered data.
NOTE: If you need all passwords in the system reset, fax a written and signed request for password reset on company letterhead to TimeIPS technical support at (316) 636-2337. Please Include your registration number and contact information.
NOTE: A Technical Support contract is required for a system-wide password reset. If your Technical Support contract has expired, contact the TimeIPS sales department at 877.846.3256 to renew your contract.
