Benefits Request and Approval Module - Employee View

The Benefits Request and Approval Module allows for employee self-service for viewing benefits availability and requesting benefit time on-line through the My TimeIPS tab. Manager's are automatically notified and can approve or deny the request.

Permission: Payroll Management -> Benefits (View for Self)
Default Permission Group: Employee

  • Using the central My TimeIPS® Menu, click on: My Benefit Requests
  •

  • You will then be taken to the Request Benefits screen where can see your Current Benefit Availability, Less Approved Use and Less Approved/Pending Use, and also see any Pending Requests. This is also where you can make a new benefit request.

  • To make a new benefit request, simply enter a Date, Type, Subclass (if configured) and Hours.  The Optional Note can be entered as well.  Click "Save" to make a single request.  For multi-day requests, enter the total hours (i.e. 40 hours) then click "Split and Save" and choose on option to split the request by days or by schedule.

The new request will show in the pending requests area and the manager or administrator assigned to you will be notified that there is a request waiting for their approval.

  •

  • You can now see that the request has been moved to the Pending Requests box. From this box you can edit or delete the request until the date requested has been payrolled.
  •
If you have any questions, please contact your manager or payroll administrator for further clarification.
