TimeIPS Telephone Clocking Menu Options



Employees can remotely clock in/out, check status, listen to messages, and record a clock note using the TimeIPS Telephone Clocking system. Following is a summary of the menu options available when calling the Telephone Clocking system.

Dial TimeIPS Telephone Clocking Phone Number

If the system has been set to prompt the caller to choose a language, it will do so now. (See the Telephone Clocking article's Language tab section for set up instructions.)

If the caller's phone number is "Call Blacklisted", a message to that affect will play then the call will be disconnected.



{System Greeting Plays}

If the caller's phone number is on the "Clock In/Out blacklist" or not on the "Clock In/Out whitelist", a message to that affect will be heard. The caller will have the option to listen to messages. If the caller is a manager or administrator, additional administrative menu options will be available.

Enter a Badge Number then #.

If a PIN number is required, the caller will be prompted to enter their PIN number now. If the PIN is not set or if PIN Re-registration is required, the caller will be prompted to setup a PIN number then state their first and last name.

1 - Clock In (if Clock In/Out is not restricted)

If you have set up the alternate "Prompt 1 For In/Out" mode, then this option 1 will be used to smart clock for both In and Out.
If your system is configured to use jobs, you will be prompted to enter a job code, followed by #.
If you are using work orders, you may enter the work order code, press the * key, and then enter the job code and #.
To clock into your default job, simply press # without entering a code.

2 - Clock Out (if Clock In/Out is not restricted)

If you have set up the alternate "Prompt 1 For In/Out" mode, then this option 2 will be disabled. (See the Telephone Clocking article's Prompt Information section for instructions.)

3 - Change Jobs(if Clock In/Out is not restricted and your system is configured to use jobs)

You will be prompted to enter a job code, followed by #.
If you are using work orders, you may enter the work order code, press the * key, and then enter the job code and #.
To change to your default job, simply press # without entering a code.

4 - Review or Change a Message for All Employees

5 - Reset an Employee's PIN Number
6 - Clock all your employees In

7 - Clock all your employees Out
9 - Exit

8 - Administrator's Menu (Requires "Telephone Clock Administrator Menu" permission)

NOTE: If access is restricted by Caller ID, callers from unauthorized numbers will receive the message "TimeIPS is not accepting calls from your number" and the call will be disconnected.

NOTE: If clocking access is restricted by Caller ID, callers from unauthorized numbers will receive the message "Please note that the number you are calling from is not authorized for clocking in or out. If you need to clock from this number, please contact your manager for assistance." Options 1 and 2 will not be available to the caller.
