Relay Control: Manually Test Relay Channels and/or connected devices

The Network Clock is primarily used to clock in and out. The clock also offers a System Menu which can be used to configure the device and access other functions. This article covers how to Test Relays.

When using the TimeIPS Relay Control unit with the clock, it is often helpful to test each relay by hand before configuring relay timers and triggers in the TimeIPS server.

To do this, start from the main screen and press Enter without a badge number to enter the system menu.  Then, go down to Test Relays. Each time you press Enter on one of the Toggle Relay entries, the relay will turn on/off.  You should hear a slight "click" sound in the relay controller and the connected device should turn on/off.
