TimeIPS What's New - Version 3.3
TimeIPS is continually developed and improved with new features and enhancements. Below is an overview of the newest features and enhancements available with TimeIPS Version 3.3.
NOTE: Some of the items listed require optional modules, which may or may not be listed in the description of the change.
Minor version updates to the major version of TimeIPS you are currently running (i.e. version 3.3) are always available. Simply make sure that Automatic Updates checkbox is checked and you will receive regular automatic minor version updates. In some cases, the latest minor version releases are rolled-out in phases. If you'd like to get a minor version update before your roll-out phase, please contact TimeIPS technical support.
New Features in TimeIPS version 3.3
- Improved interface consistency and usability
- Additional options and improvements when creating new employees
- Support for customizable benefit data to be shown on End Of Week Mailer
- Improvements to QuickBooks integration, including support for the QuickBooks Web Connector
- Support for benefit events tagged with a job on the Sign Off Report
- Improved auditing, including audits on initial employee settings, employee remote clocking permission and API changes
- New setting to allow pop-up warnings in time edit if over, under, or mis-match weekly hours occur
- New settings for time-edit alerts if time is edited or added that is not on the employee's daily schedule
- Enhanced compliance tools for meal breaks, including meal break warnings and calculators for time-edit and reporting
- Additional password security options including configurable minimum password length, upper/lower case letter requirement and number/special character requirement.
- New login security options including limiting failed password attempts, alerts and lockout. Login activity log (accessable by full access employees), visible under Employee Administration -> Login Logs.
- Option to allow employees to recover/reset their password by email.
- Option for managers to set an initial password for an employee, then flag to system to require the employee set their own password on first login.
- Improved SSL certificate handling, making it faster and easier to replace certificates that are expiring.
