Payroll

Payroll includes payroll settings and exports.

Payroll Settings require the assignment of several types of rules within the TimeIPS system. There are three main types of rules that must be set.

1. Overtime Policies

2. Workweek Groups

3. Payroll Types

Note: For ease of use, TimeIPS recommends that these rules be set in the order listed. We also recommend these rules be set before employees are initially added to the TimeIPS system (when possible).

Payroll Exports can generate a file with your payroll data. Many of these files can be opened in a spreadsheet application, or, if using the Payroll Integration with Benefits Tracking optional module, the file can be imported in your payroll application.
