Check for Updates
The Network Clock is primarily used to clock in and out. The clock also offers a System Menu which can be used to configure the device and access other functions. This article covers how to check for Updates from the Network Clock.
The clock will normally get updates automatically when it communicates with the server every few minutes. To force an immediate check for updates, enter the system menu by pressing Enter at the main screen without putting in a badge number first. Then go down to Check for Updates and press Enter. Select Update and press enter again. If there is an update to install, the screen will change and show the firmware update status messages. If the current firmware is up to date, nothing will happen.
