Employee Summary Report

The Employee Summary Report shows distribution of worked time by job in a graphical format.

Using the left pane Main Menu » Administration, click on: Reports » Special Reports

Special Reports provide information and data from the system beyond the standard Time Edit/Report. Select a report by clicking on the report name.

Under Clocking, click on: Employee Summary Report

  • Select Date Range: Choose either a predefined or custom time range in which to run the report.
    • Use the drop down menu to select a predefined range, such as "This week", "Last Month", and the current and last completed periods for your configured payroll types.  You can use this selector to quickly access the most commonly used time ranges.
    • You can also select a custom date range using the From and To fields. Click on the field to display a calendar and then select the date. This field can also be edited in place so just click in the box and type over the displayed date and time.
  • Select Employee or Group. Use this selector to filter which Employees you would like to see in the report. It works in conjunction with Employee Selection Groups, and your custom presets will appear in the list.
NOTE: Selecting a group such as a Job group will limit this report to all of the Employees who are associated with that job, but will not filter results to time worked in that job. The Advanced Options can be used to set up these limits and filters.
  • To include the Work Order Column, check the "Include Work Order" box.
  • Click the View Report button to display the report below.

Days are 12am to 12am.

Weeks start on Monday at 12 am.

NOTE: The pie chart can have up to 10 slices. If you have more than 10 categories, the 9 largest will appear individually and the 10th slice will be called "Other", containing all other categories.
